Vern Curtis. Independent Director, Crown Money Corporation Limited:

Vern has previously spent 36 years with Westpac Banking Group having held senior positions in the bank overseas. Vern was appointed Chief Credit Officer for the bank in 1991 and held this position for 6 years during which time he was also director of numerous subsidiaries of the bank.

In late 2000 he was appointed the Managing Director of AGC Finance (NZ) Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Westpac) which was acquired in 2002 by General Electric. He continued in his role as Managing Director and shortly thereafter as President for GE New Zealand. Since completing his contract with GE, Vern has been appointed as a director of a number of private companies.

John Copson. Managing Director, WestStar Capital Group:

John has been involved in the finance and insurance industries for over 29 years. In 1986 he established Autosure New Zealand and Crown Insurance, leaders in the retail vehicle insurance sector in NZ. He sold the insurance business of both companies in 2004 to Vero Insurance and has since established WestStar Capital Group. WestStar is an investment group with substantial investments in the property and finance markets.

Chris Arbuckle. Managing Director Crown Money Corporation Limited:

Chris has been involved in the investment banking, property and finance industries for over 30 years. His experience in the finance industry includes AGC – consumer and vehicle finance, UDC – commercial finance; Hanover Finance – a property and development finance company and First Eastern Finance Limited – a property and development finance company where he held the position of Executive Director.

Chris has also been involved in project management of a number of large property developments in NZ and Australia. The projects included a retirement village, residential subdivisions and commercial offices and warehousing.
